Marc Sadler
Marc Sadler, born in France, now lives and works in Italy as a Designer, specializing in plastic materials and their processing technologies. *He graduated from 'E.N.S.A.D.' in Paris and won the 'Brook Stevens' international design competition in 1967. Between 1968 and 1974 he continued his apprenticeship in France and began to work on industrial design projects for French companies in very different sectors.
Already in 1968 he was a member of 'Design Center 1' in Paris, the first design group in France. In 1969 he established 'Deco Design' in the south of France. This service company specialized in offering innovative furnishing solutions, using mainly products from France and northern Europe. *In 1970, he joined the 'France Design' group and continued to specialize in plastic products. He has designed products for the most wide-ranging sectors, demonstrating his ability to understand and assimilate various production technologies in response to the requests received.
In 1971 he began working on plastic ski boots for Caber in Italy where he patented the asymmetric shell system that was to remain a very popular ski boot for several years. This success 'forced' him to spend longer periods in Italy. He opened a studio, with a CAD system and three-dimensional modeler at Asolo (in the province of Treviso). Flanked by a staff of modelers and engineers, he set up a structure that allowed him to personally organize and manage the development of new products for corporate customers.
